Chapter One
The beast rose above her head. A
low sound rumbled deep within his throat as the sharp claws thrashed out ripping her tender cheek down to the bone. Blood splattered in pulses.
Her jaw bone was visible as she grinded her teeth. A gurgling sound came out of her mouth and
blood bubbled down her chin. Her eyes bulged. "Have you ever smelled
death?" He roared. She could only shake her head slightly. "I pity you," the beast growled.
The sharp claws struck once more piercing her carotid artery. A plume of blood arched out of her
open throat as she sank to the ground. The beast laughed as thunder burst through
the sky. He leaned down, leaving a bright red lipstick mark on her forehead. Somewhere
a clock struck midnight. |
