Welcome.
About me . . . a little self indulgent if you ask me, but hey, I added it to the navigation pannel because it's a necessity for an Author's site and I guess I now can be categorized in that realm.   So here's a little about me and my writing . . .

Me and my comfy writing chair.

A description of my writing space . . .

The comfy chair in the picture is where I write when I'm at home.  I have an equally comfortable chair in our beach home but in both cases, it's right smack in the middle of the action.

People find this amazing, but I have the natural ability to shut out everything around me and disappear into whatever I'm doing, whether it's writing a story, reading a book or even getting lost in a good movie.  The world could fall apart around me and if I'm in the zone, I'm completely clueless.

Just ask my kids how hard it is to get my attention when my fingers are flying on the keyboard.

I couldn't see shutting myself off from the family especially since I have a full time job outside of the writing front, so after dinner I settle in to the chair with my little Brookstone’s lap desk and my Samsung netbook and go to town.   At least I'm there in body - even if my spirit is a thousand miles away.

I write thrillers that run the gambit from erotic to supernatural to science fiction.  My short stories tend to dabble in the realm of horror and I've had a few of these published in online e-zines such as Niteblade and Allegory.

My thrillers have romantic undertones intertwined with my unique paranormal/supernatural slant manifesting in dark themes and twisted villans doling out a fair amount of violence.  They are not for the faint of heart.

My heros and heroines are three dimensional, real and infallible, making both good and bad choices and sometimes those questionable decisions come with a high price.  I don't believe in happily ever after but I do believe in survival of the fittest, so if you're looking for a nice fluff novel, this isn't the place to find it,  but if you're looking for a book that gets your blood pumping, welcome, and remember where you keep your nightlights!

My first two books to hit the preverbal shelves are in the erotic thriller vein.  Survival Games and Mind Games are part of a trilogy and I expect to see the final installment End Game available some time in 2011.  Check them out on the My Books page.   I also have excerpts available for you to check out.  If you like what you see, purchase information is available on the Contact Me page.

In addition to writing, I also am an Assistant Editor with Allegory (www.allegoryezine) an online venue for Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror.   We publish three times a year and believe it or not, I absoloutely love this job - and the pay is stellar - I get to showcase a short story of mine in each issue if I choose. :)  Seriously, even though it is an unpaid position, I do love being a part of the publishing process.  The editor - Ty Drago - besides being a talented writer in his own right, is probably one of the easiest men to work with and I'm blessed to have been given the chance.
